Taxi drivers protesting in front of the National Assembly

A 51-year old taxi driver was killed in Sofia on the morning of February 9.
The man was stabbed to death at about 3am in the residential district of Luylin. He died because of blood loss before emergency teams could take him to hospital.
Colleagues of the killed man said that he became a taxi driver recently and almost no one knew him well.
More than 150 taxi drivers have gathered in front of the National Assembly building in the capital to protest.
The drivers called for safer working conditions. Police have blocked access to the National Assembly building already.
