Interior Ministry will organise a car march in support of the You Are not Alone campaign for the Bulgarian nurses sentenced to death on charges of intentional HIV infection in Libya.
Some policemen will set off at 12pm from St. Alexander Nevski square making use of 15 private cars to Rila Monastery where two hours later they will join the prayer to be held there, Bulgarian National Radio reported.
The police officials will drive further to the city of Blagoevgrad. On February 10 the policemen will drive across Gotse Delchev and on February 11 their procession will include Razlog, Yakoruda, Velingrad and Septemvri.
The police cars will have on them stickers You Are not Alone.
Another Interior Ministry car procession will join demonstrations in Sofia. One of them starts at 5:30pm on February 9 and organised by national private channel bTV, Darik Radio and Standart daily.
On February 8 Bulgaria marks the eighth year since the nurses' detention. Many Bulgarian cities among which Bourgas, Varna, Veliko Turnovo Smolyan, Sliven and Vratsa will organise various events to mark the occasion and show their support for the nurses.
